Currently, I am a Chalmers Astronomy Fellow at Chalmers University, Gothenburg, focusing on the formation and evolution of extragalactic jets in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) and their interaction with the obscuring molecular material and plasma around the central engine. Previously, I was Assistant Project Scientist for the ERC funded project M2FINDERS (PI: Prof.J.A. Zensus) at the MPIfR, which aims to measure the 3D magnetic field distribution of AGN jets. As a member of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) Collaboration, I lead a project on multi-frequency VLBI (Very Long Baseline) observations of the AGN NGC 1052. I am involved in the DFG-funded research unit FOR 5195: Relativistic jets in active galaxies, led by JMU Würzburg.
